Three brothers (James, Karl and Michael) grew up in the Norristown area and have been lifelong Montgomery County residents.  Their parents, Jim and Lisa, instilled an extremely strong work ethic into the boys and sent them out into the world to make their mark.  However, Jim is the main reason the boys were inspired to start the landscaping business they own today.

Jim Sr. started a landscaping company in 1987. The boys grew up working with their father each summer and in 2007 decided to start up on their own and took on some side projects.  They kept working their main jobs until 2016 when they decided to build on what their father had started.  When asked why they took the business to the next level Karl said, “Landscaping has been in our family since we were young.  We started this business because we had grown tired of working for someone else and wanted to be our own boss.”

James Jr. graduated from Norristown HS in 2000 and went on to study Finance at Philadelphia University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2004.  He took what he learned in school to Ferguson Enterprises and CertainTeed from 2004-2017 where he worked in their credit departments. 

Karl graduated from Norristown HS in 2005.  He did not attend college and went right to work as a carpenter’s apprentice for Viola Contractors.  After completing his apprenticeship he earned a great job with Artisan Builders where he worked for 10 years as a lead carpenter and foreman.  

Michael graduated from Norristown HS in 2009. He went on to attend UTI (Universal Technical Institute) for automotive. He joined Peruzzi as well as Conicelli and Ardmore Toyota for a total of 9 years. Michael is now an Automotive Teaching Assistant at Central Montco Technical High-school and works with his brothers during summer break.

When asked about what makes their business unique James Jr. responded with, “At almost all of our job sites, at least one owner is on property the whole time.  We pride ourselves on following up in a timely manner and asking the right questions so that we can service the customer to the best of our ability.”  Karl added, “We deliver quality work on every job we do.  We do our best to work with the customer to make their dreams become a reality.”

I am sure you will agree, Jim and Lisa did a pretty job with these guys.
